About Tom Hileman

Hileman Enterprises LLC is dedicated to helping clients leverage technology for business value. Applying the right technology, right when the client needs it is the goal for Hileman Enterprises. Tom Hileman, Managing Partner, has over 12 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry. He has focused his career on custom software development, infrastructure, and systems implementation driving business efficiencies. Through a variety of management roles within the IT industry and in depth experience with technology pioneers such as Microsoft, Oracle and IBM, Tom is an expert at leveraging technology solutions for organizational growth and success.

With both deep technical competency and broad strategic vision, Tom has brought his insight to a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, professional services, energy, and financial services. Although Tom has served clients from large, well-known companies such as the Cleveland Clinic, MTD Products, Eaton, Sherwin-Williams, American Greetings, Charles Schwab, Cleveland Cliffs, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, most of Tom’s time is focused working with privately held companies with revenues of $1-$100 million. Clients engage Tom in their organizations as Chief Information Officer, project manager, and business advisor.

Prior to Hileman Enterprises LLC, Tom served as Chief Technology Officer/Partner at Optiem, driving the e-marketing company's strategic vision while significantly contributing to its new business efforts. Prior to Optiem, Tom was VP of Technology for FutureNext Consulting, leading the channel efforts through partnership affiliations, alliances and development. In addition, Tom managed client projects and directed a development staff including business analysts, database administrators, and quality assurance. Tom's technology roots were grown at IQS Inc., an ISO 9000 and quality systems software provider, where he was Director of New Product Development. Tom's early experience included work for Ernst & Young.

Tom holds a BS from Bowling Green State University and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
